a set i made for fun to be played at a small afterparty me, kat, and doovendeer hosted at our airbnb after the buggeyed, suroor, lil t4t & nonconnah show at petshop on may 14th.
i actually didnt get a chance to play this for anyone that night though because we were all too tired to party. a few of us took shrooms and it got really weird and scary staying the night in an unfamiliar house with a bunch of people we just met. playing this wouldn't have been appropriate.

i was in a really negative and impulsive headspace around this time. the day after the afterparty, i couldn't sleep, and something happened that upset me and made me really uncomfortable. i was upset enough to delete the buggiverse server, leave every single other server i was in, and i considered quitting music entirely.
the buggiverse had over 200 members when i deleted it. i'm really sorry to all 200 of you bugglings. it was the stupidest impulse decision i have ever made. we had a lot of fun in the buggiverse and there will never be another server like it.

when i was living in the fungeon house in 2023, i had a bad habit of abusing dxm.
this song is about intrusive thoughts i get sometimes, a whole year after getting sober, of going to work after taking 13 pills of dxm ("robotabs").
13 pills (390 mg) is the most i ever took at once. here's a drawing i made recalling the peak of my trip from June 2023:

if ur gonna do drugs, u can go ahead and rule out dxm. i could feel it making me stupider and hurting my body. i would never encourage anyone to do it.

i was struggling to find inspiration for this song and the deadline was drawing near, so i hopped in a call with my friends and we brainstormed some silly rhymes together. i think it holds up well

around this time i started becoming a lot less active due to the manipulation and inappropriate behavior from my roommate getting worse and worse. shortly after this tweet i would quit my job and move out of the house after confronting my roommate.
i was lucky enough to be able to move into my grandparents basement while i worked on getting back on my feet.

suicidetwink debuts their first song!this was the only song posted while i was in the band. during the drama with moving and trying to find a job, i was depressed and unmotivated to try and contribute anything to a big collective like this.i became less active as time went on and eventually finally left the band some time around may 2024 iirc

- Pride Mixes: these 2 mixes are from my first dj set! for these uploads i combined audio from videos of the set with the original project file. it was at an 18+ afterparty for a pride event in my old small hometown. there was hardly anyone at all in the crowd, but one of the few people there, front and center, was my high school english teacher. he's the one yelling "yes!" and "more!" in the beginning actually. my teacher heard me play a remix of WAP. it was very awkward. i moved out of the state not very long after this performance, so i dont really have to worry about stuff like that happening anymore. shoutout Mr. K though, he was cool as hell!!!!!!

- robux: this was a song i wrote during my senior year of high school, and one of the first times i played with using silly samples in my music. i had a lot of free periods where i just sat in the library and watched tiktoks, and i had just discovered seamoretheseal and wanted to make a fun song like him. "I got a marble in my backpack" @ 0:29 is a reference to this song by him

- exulansis: i performed this song while i was still writing it. there are a few things i noticed i didnt like about this version of the song that i cut in the final version, and some things, like my messy improvised solo (4:14) that i decided to include.

- mirror: i opened this song with a clip from ratatouille that resonated with me. the song is about being queer and dysphoric and trying my best to be a normal person in a small town full of people who thought i was weird. I never released this because i never made a version i was completely proud of, and over time i started to think it was corny, but I’m proud of the lines “what about this is he? I am no one’s son, I am no one’s son.”non-live version

- Z0MB13_G1RL: i love this song and i want to remake it! Its about being a gross zombie! here’s the non-live version

- Herd on 550: this song, released originally on the Sounds of People Talking EP, then later on creature chorus, was about a local tragedy where a group of horses escaped someone’s ranch and wandered onto the highway. a pickup truck hit 3 of the horses and they all died, and when the ambulance came it hit and killed the 4th and last horse. the song is told from the perspective of the last horse.
“separated from the rest, i hear the crash. a single thud took them out, wandering onto pavement, my buddy’s in a ditch now, wobbling on broken legs. truly i am terrified, fleeing from the absence, ambulance came just in time, followed by silence.”
